一 Profile
This product consists of two parts: high-pressure
voltage transformer and high frequency oscillation
launcher. It can detect the vacuum degree of glass
devices by high frequency electric spark, which
can be applied to the examination of all kinds
of light bulbs, cathode ray tubes of electronic
tube, gas laser tubes, medical bottles and the
leaking points of glass vacuum system.

2. Illustrating the Principle
Through using the high-pressure voltage transformer
,the alternating voltage of 220v can be raised
to 2500v or 3000v. And two electrodes of the launcher
produce spark and discharge, the high frequency
current of which leads to will be sent to the
electric current of resonance. The voltage rise
again up to 180-210kv. Finally, the pointed electrode
will launch strong spark.
四 Usage
First, the plug of high frequency launcher is
inserted on the socket high-pressure voltage transformer.
Put through the electric power, and strong spark
should be seen. If there is any gas left in the
glass devices, you will observe the ionization
phenomenon and different color because of different
gas. Judge the vacuum degree from the intensity
and color of light. When used to detect the leaking
point, you move the spring electrode around the
glass surface. If the place that touches appears
shining point, it leaks.
五 Precautions
1. Metals cannot touch the conical part of the
launcher when using. Or the strong spark that
springs will burn the coil.
2. Move the detection equipment continuously when
detecting. Don't pass 5 s in one place lest that
the glass breaks.
3. In general, the voltage of 2500v is enough,
and can be used for 8 hours. If the test voltage
is below 200v or the glass is very thick, you
can press down the switch of 3000v.
4. When some problems happen, cut the power first.
Don't repair until the electric capacity discharges.
5. You can change the distance between two electrodes.
But don't change it at will, because it has been
adjusted in factory.
